Lithuania was organising in Druskininkai AquaPark the Third Lambasting Championship in February 12. – 13. 2011

The first two days competition was very interesting and is certainly increasing the interest of lambasting among sauna people. I hope that we can get more information and maybe even some training from these experts who were present in Druskininkai. The key countries are besides Lithuania and Latvia also Russia, Bela Russia, Ukraina,  Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway etc. There is also some lambasting culture e.g. in Mongolia. The countries intrerested in lambasting are planning to open also a web page www.lambasting.org. The key person behind this is Rimas Kavaliuskas from Lithuanina Sauna Association.

Here were 14 participants from 6 countries  on Saturday and 6 best ones continued on Sunday.

The final results are:

The event was very well organised and the big crowd staying those two days had a lot to see. The Druskininkai AquaPark is propably the biggest Aqua Park in Northern Europe and includes e.g. 20 saunas. The Lithuanians were organising some special lambasting etc. events for the visitors during the competition days. We hope that next time we get more countries interested.
